提到CommandCentralStorage，大家对这个产品感觉比较陌生。但是提起SANPointControl，许多人都用过这个产品。CommandCentralStorage可以说就是SANPointControl的升级替代产品。在

CommandCentralStorage中不但包含了SANPointControl，而且还包含了StorageAdvancedReporter。VERITAS为了实现效用计算(UtilityComputing)，重新整合了产品线，在2004年9月推出了功能强大的

VERITASCommandCentralSolution。

VERITASCommandCentralSolution包含CommandCentral?Availability，CommandCentral?MicroMeasure，CommandCentral?Service，CommandCentral?Storage。

我们接下来介绍CommandCentral?Storage的安装方法。

1。放入CommandCentralStorage4.x的第一张CD。

CommandCentralStorage4.x包含3张CD。

CD1是CommandCentralStorage&ServiceforSolaris.

CD2是CommandCentralStorage&ServiceforWindows

CD3是CommandCentralStorage&Service,Linux/AIX/HP-UX,English,AgentandAgentPushInstallUtility

2.运行installccs安装CommandCentralStorage4.x。

#./installccs

3.开始安装，你将看到下面的信息:

WelcometotheCommandCentralInstallationprogramforSolaris.

Componentsavailableforinstallation:

1)CommandCentralStorageManagementServer[INSTALL]

2)CommandCentralStorageAgent

3)CommandCentralStorageWebEngine[INSTALL]

4)CommandCentralServiceServerandWebEngine

5)CommandCentralServiceAgent

6)CommandCentralServiceViewBuilder

7)Finishedwithselections

Enterthecorrespondingcomponentnumbertoaddorremoveitfromtheinstallqueue,

注意：

CommandCentral允许将CCStorageserver和CCStorageWebEnginer分别安装在不同的主机上面。如果选择安装CommandCentralStorageManagementServer，就不要再选择CommandCentralStorageAgent，

CommandCentralStorageManagementServer已经包含了Agent的内容。

4.确认要安装的模块：

5.选择要安装的Agent模块：

注意：

OM是OperationsModule，用户可以使用这个模块管理存储（storage）、数据库（database），SAN，设定管理策略。DM

就是早期SANPointControl3.5/3.6中的ClientAgent。DM是DataModule,它源自StorageAdvancedReporter。用户可以使

用DM查看基于主机或应用的存储使用情况，例如文件的数量、大小、所有者、Exchange的使用情况等等。

6.选择安装路径：

WhereshouldCommandCentralpackagesbeinstalled?(/opt)

WhereshouldCommandCentraldatabasesbeinstalled?Adirectorynamed'ccs_data'willbecreatedwithintostoredata.

(/var/VERITAS)

7.配置CommandCentral的WebServer，缺省http的端口是8181，https的端口是8443，端口可以根据用户实际情况修改。

PleaseenteraportfortheVERITASWebServer,ortoacceptthedefaultport:(8181)

8.配置SMTPServer，缺省值是localhost。

9.确认Server的配置信息，如果有问题可以重新配置。
